Hull Royal Infirmary

This project was constructed for the Health Services in Hull, UK. The building was set with a great target: to deliver a training facility for medical students.  The facility was constructed on the top floor of a larger three storey building. Consisted of mock-up surgery areas and treatment rooms with one-way mirrors to allow the observation and assessment of trainees during their training hours or assessments.  The building was a new addition to the health complex and was connected to one of the main health services buildings. In this project I was collaborating with the Design and Construction team working on the specifics of the internal design and tower access. This project gave me a truly great insight into the complexity of design in health services, their regulations and the importance to follow the detail required in each area.
