Greenwood House - Barn Conversion & Holiday Lodge barn
​This project was an entrepreneurial initiative working in partnership with my friend and fellow architect Paola Ferreira to deliver a proposal for a barn conversion for a family home and future holiday house development. We proposed a design to the Greenwood family by going through a thorough examination and close exchange of ideas with the family until we delivered a design according to their needs. The house retains all the external characteristics of the barn and took advantage of them, like slit windows and height of the roof. We worked on the planning application and participated in a number of meetings with the council. The project was granted planning permission in 2010 by the Harrogate council, UK.
